Q. How long will my order take?
A. Your order will take a maximum of 1 month to be delivered to the shipping address. However, in certain cases, we are able to deliver within 2-3 weeks. Please email us at customercare@mohanlalsons.com to see if an early delivery is possible.
Q. Can I change and cancel my order?
A. Cancellations or changes in the order are possible up to 24 hours after the order is placed. After this the order is processed and the tailoring of an item begins, and therefore cancellation is not possible. To cancel or change an order, you should e-mail us, quoting your order number and name.
Q. Where does MLS ship to?
A: We ship to most locations within India and the rest of the world. If your country isn’t on that list please contact customercare@mohanlalsons.com to see if we can arrange shipping to your destination.
Q. What are the MLS’s shipping charges?
A: Shipping charges are nominal and are based on the weight of the shipment and the delivery location. These would be automatically added to the shipment cost upon check-out. The customer will have an option to review these charges before making the final payment.
Q. Which credit cards do Mohanlal Sons accept online?
A: Visa, Mastercard & American Express are accepted both online and in any of our stores. We also accept debit cards both online and in stores. For online transactions, you can also choose to pay directly from your bank account.
Q. Is it safe to buy online with my credit card?
A: Mohanlal Sons uses the highest level of online security to ensure that online shopping with your credit card is safe. All payments are routed through Paypal, one of the most trusted Payment gateways.
Q. How do I know which size to buy?
A: When viewing a garment there is an option to click ‘SIZE CHART’, under the size and colour options. A pop up box will appear with basic measurements to help you find the correct size. As a general rule, the size of your Suit, Sherwani, Kurta Pyajama, Indo-western etc., will correspond to your shirt size. For example, if you wear a size 40 shirt, you will need to order a size 40 Sherwani. Feel free to email us for more details.
Q. Can I purchase online using gift vouchers?
A: We honor Mohanlal Sons, Accor and Sodexo gift vouchers at all our stores. We also honor TGIP Exclusive card at our Noida store. Unfortunately, we do not currently accept an online gift vouchers
Q. I have made a purchase online but I want to exchange it - how do I go about that?
A: Garments which are eligible for exchange (see criteria below) can be exchanged at any MLS store, or returned to this address:

Unworn merchandise may be exchanged within 14 days of purchase for an exchange or store credit in the form of original payment, provided it’s accompanied by an original Mohanlal Sons sales receipt and with all original tags attached. No returns are allowed.
Worn, damaged, altered, special ordered, or custom tailored merchandise may not be exchanged.
The customer will have to bear any shipping costs if exchange is done via mail.
Please note that we cannot entertain any refunds.
Q. Are all your designs available online?
A. While we strive to have our maximum range available for online purchase, it is impossible for us to do so for each and every garment. However, we will be happy to design something unique for you if desired. Please email us what you have in mind @ customercare@mohanlalsons.com and one of our design consultants will get in touch with you.
Q. Can you customize something unique for me?
A. Absoultely!!! We will be happy to mix and match any fabrics, colors & designs from our catalog as per your requirements. We can also make something completely unique for you from scratch. Please email us what you have in mind @ customercare@mohanlalsons.com and one of our design consultants will get in touch with you.

Q. What actually is 'Bespoke'?
A. The origin of the term 'bespoke' dates back to the 17th Century, when tailors held full lengths of cloth on their premises. When a customer reserved a length of material it was said to be 'bespoken' or 'spoken for'. Today, bespoke means to make a garment to the exact personal specification of a person. This differs markedly from the more widely available 'made–to-measure' garments, which uses a basic pattern which is then simply adjusted to your measurements. This allows very limited alterations to style and design.
Q. What are the advantages of Bespoke?
A. 95% of the male population will not find an off the rack suit that fits them with any degree of accuracy and not only does it not fit properly you have no choice on style either. With bespoke you make the suit to your exact specification, in both terms of style and fit. This results in achieving a garment that is distinctively yours.
Q. How are the Mohanlal Sons products made?
A. Mohanlal Sons products are available both readymade and bespoke. Bespoke products have been tailored to the highest standards using highly qualified tailors. Based on your personal measurements and requirements that were taken at your consultation, the pattern cutter will create an entirely individual paper pattern which is cut from scratch. Using the paper pattern the cloth is cut and each item is hand made, using more than 60,000 hand stitches, down to the last button hole. It takes our team more than 80 hours of manual work to complete a bespoke suit. The final product will be uniquely and exactly yours and yours only.

Q. How can I make my suits last longer?
A. This is generally caused by dry cleaners who tend to press the garments at too hot a heat which in turn dry out all the natural oils in the fabric. The other factor to consider is the chairs you sit on in your suits. The fibres in a soft fabric like cashmere, will start to break down when it is constantly rubbed against a hard fabric, most offices have polyester meshing upholstery which eventually will wear out your suit trousers and create the shiny look.
Q. How should I care for my suit when travelling?
A. As already mentioned, when driving it is advisable to completely remove your jacket. If you are travelling overseas you should always carry your suit in a suit carrier and store it in the overhead compartments on the plane.
Q. Do you guarantee all your products?
A. We have been striving Since 1881 to provide the best quality garments to our customers. We strive our best to rectify any genuine customer grievances. There should be no problems with your garment as long as you take good care of it as instructed in the relevant questions above. However, we cannot undertake guarantee on any garments made from silk.

- Always brush your suit down and hang it up on a suitable hanger .
- Don’t carry too much in the pockets, avoid heavy items.
- Suits do not benefit from being dry cleaned, so do this as little as possible. When it does need cleaning make sure you take it to a reputable dry cleaner so the job is done properly. Most High Street dry cleaners will clean your suit with other garments that can ruin the fabric, so choose wisely
- Trousers will wear more than your suit jacket so it is always advisable to invest in a second pair of trousers for each suit you own. If you rotate your trousers your suit will last longer.
- When driving you should always unbutton your suit jacket or even better remove it entirely.
